Rapid Console

The Console is the management dashboard for anyone who consumes or publishes APIs on the Rapid platform. It exists to let you monitor, manage and communicate around the APIs you depend on or offer.

In the Console users can:

  • Manage Applications, and their Authorizations
  • View the analytics for APIs you are subscribed to or have published into the platform
  • Manage your Account Settings
  • View Approvals and Audit Trails
  • Manage your Billing information
  • Manage Teammates
  • Inbox (messaging center)
💡

The Console replaces and extends features that were previously distributed between the Developer and Organization Dashboards.

📘

The Console reflects the context you've selected (personal, team or organisation). Ensure you are in the correct context to see the expected data.

Analytics

Analytics helps you understand how APIs you consume and publish are performing.

For subscribed APIs (My Subscriptions), it answers questions like usage trends, reliability, and whether an API continues to meet your needs. For published APIs (My APIs), it shows adoption, traffic patterns, and financial performance over time.

Each view provides a high-level summary with the ability to explore detailed metrics in the Analytics Playground when deeper investigation is needed.

Inbox

Direct messages is the messaging center for API-related communication.

It contains conversation threads between API providers and subscribers, always scoped to a specific API. Threads are created when you contact a provider or when users reach out regarding an API you’ve published. Messages are used to ask questions, resolve issues, and handle operational concerns.

The Announcements tab is used to broadcast updates to subscribers of your APIs, such as product changes, new pricing plans, or important notices. When an announcement is sent, subscribers receive an email notification, and the content of the announcement appears as a direct message.

📘

Subscribing teams receive announcements to the direct messages tab in the context of the organization.
