We've also made improvements to the billing experience and made our platform more accessible. We also fixed numerous bugs across our platform.
As always, our team is committed to providing you with the best possible experience with our product, and we appreciate your continued support and feedback. If you have any issues or bugs, you can report them to us at our support page here.
2023.3:
New:
- API Hub for Business: We are releasing a new private hub offering that provides self-service customization of your hub’s branding/theming and url, as well as the ability to monetize your APIs. These features will also be enabled for Hub for Enterprise. This product is currently being released as a public beta. Monetization features will be available only for Hub for Business/Enterprise Proxy scenarios. More info in the docs here.
- Rapid Services VS Code Extension: The Rapid API Services extension - a unified foundation for all our supplementary extensions. It offers essential features such as an authentication provider and project manager, among others. Please note that this extension is not designed for standalone use. It is intended to be paired with additional extensions, such as the RapidAPI Client extension for API testing purposes. More info in the docs here.
- RapidAPI Hub Search in VS Code: You can now search the Rapid API Hub directly from VS Code to find APIs for your project without leaving your code editor. Enable the Hub in your Client Extension settings, open the VS Code command palette and choose “RapidAPI: Search in API Hub” to search directly from the command palette or choose “Search selection in API Hub” to be taken to the Hub UI search page within the VS Code application.
Improved:
- Hub Accessibility: General improvements to Platform to adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
- Business Details on Invoice: Rapid enables API Hub for Business users to tailor their invoices to include their business details and logo. Company details for the invoices will show as they were set on their Stripe account.
- Governance Tab: We have added a centralized "Governance" Tab in the Admin Panel to showcase the difference governance levers that Rapid provides, which includes API, Approvals, Audit Trails, and Events. This will serve as a one-stop-shop for all governance-related capabilities in the product, with upcoming features such as API Linting (in preview).
